Long Runs on Broadway
22 Jul 2008
Several current Broadway shows are in the process of breaking records on the all time long-run list. Here are the standings for number of performances of current and former Broadway shows as of July 20, 2008. The list includes all Broadway shows that have run more than 800 performances. All totals are for the original Broadway run, except where otherwise noted. Shows marked with an asterisk (*) are still running.

Broadway Rush and Standing Room Only Policies
18 Jul 2008
To make tickets more affordable to students and other theatregoers on a budget, many Broadway shows have implemented rush, lottery, and standing-room-only (SRO) policies. Anyone willing to wake up and get to the box office early, spend some time in a line, or stand during the show, can get greatly discounted tickets to the majority of shows on Broadway.

Weekly Schedule of Current Broadway Shows
16 Jul 2008 -- While most of Broadway runs on a traditional Tuesday through Sunday schedule - with Sunday and Monday evenings off - a handful of productions diverge slightly and offer performances at non-traditional times. This affords potential theatregoers a number of options should they wish to take in a Broadway show on a night when much of the Great White Way is "dark."
