ASHLEY SPENCER comes directly from the Broadway company of Hairspray, where she made her Broadway debut last summer as the toxic blonde Amber Von Tussle. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to play another iconic role on Broadway in Grease. A native of northeast Ohio, Ashley was a popular finalist for the role of Sandy on the NBC talent competition series “Grease: You’re the One That I Want.” Prior to appearing on TV, Ashley portrayed Barbie in the national tour of Barbie Live! in Fairytopia. She would like to thank her family, her extended family at Hairspray and her friends for their love and support.
