THEA SHARROCK Theatre includes Happy Now? (National Theatre); Cloud Nine (Almeida); The Emperor Jones (National Theatre); Heroes (Geffen Playhouse); Equus (West End); The Chairs (Gate); A Voyage Round My Father (Donmar and West End); The Emperor Jones (Gate); Heroes (West End);Private Lives, Don Juan, Blithe Spirit, Betrayal, The Fight for Barbara and The Deep Blue Sea (Bath Theatre Royal); Tejas Verdes (Gate); A Doll’s House, Mongoose, Trip’s Cinch and The Sleeper’s Den (Southwark Playhouse); Free (National Theatre); and Top Girls (BAC, UK tours and West End). Thea was artistic director of the Gate Theatre 2004-2007 and Southwark Playhouse 2001-2004. She was the recipient of the James Menzies-Kitchin Memorial Trust’s Young Director of the Year Award 2000 for her direction of Top Girls at the BAC.
