Espinosa and Green Join Line-Up for London Benefit Concert The Music of Scott Alan

Rent's Eden Espinosa and Wicked's Jenna Leigh Green are the latest additions to the line-up for the upcoming West End benefit concert Never Neverland: The Music of Scott Alan, which marks the West End debut of composer and lyricist Alan, who produces the monthly cabaret series Monday Nights, New Voices in Manhattan.

The Sept. 21 concert will be held at the Duchess Theatre and will benefit the charities Ovarian Cancer Action and NCH. Show time is 7:30 PM.

Produced by Laura Costello and Amy Nicholson, the evening will feature a host of West End theatre actors, including Marguerite's Annalene Beechey, Dirty Dancing's Simon Greiff, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat's Jenna Lee-James, Wicked's Liam Tamne, We Will Rock You's Amanda Coutts and Gemma O'Duffy, Half a Sixpence's Jonathan Eio, Les Misérables' Cassie Compton and Alice Fern and Hairspray's Rachael Wooding. Broadway's Espinosa and Green will also be making their West End debuts that evening.

Composer Alan will accompany the singers on piano, who will perform songs from his debut CD, "Dreaming Wide Awake." Peter White will be evening's musical director.

Scott Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which was produced in Los Angeles. He also produces the Monday Nights, New Voices series at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, and his newest musical, Piece, was featured at the 2006 NAMT festival and the 2007 Seattle Village Theatre Festival.
