Legally Blonde, LuPone, Patinkin, Sondheim, Ebersole and Burnett on Kravis Center Schedule

Palm Beach's Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome the national tour of Legally Blonde as well as the Tony-winning talents of Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin and Stephen Sondheim during its 2008-2009 season.

National tours making stops at the Palm Beach venue include Dixie's Tupperware Party (Nov. 11-16), the 2004 Tony-winning musical Avenue Q (Nov. 25-30), Forbidden Broadway (Dec. 26-31), The Drowsy Chaperone (Jan. 6-11, 2009), Legally Blonde (March 17-22, 2009), Fiddler on the Roof (April 14-19, 2009) and The Wizard of Oz (May 12-17, 2009).

Solo evenings include comedian Lewis Black (Oct. 5), singer-songwriter Rufus Waingwright (Nov. 9), Barbara Cook (Dec. 16), Melissa Manchester (Dec. 29), Jackie Mason (Feb. 2, 2009), Tony Award winner Lily Tomlin (Feb. 10, 2009) and Marvin Hamlish (March 8, 2009).

The Kravis season also boasts Tony honored Evita actors Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, who will reunite in concert (March 25, 2009), as well as Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell with special guest Melissa Errico (April 9, 2009).

The Kravis Center will present intimate conversations with stage and screen legend Carol Burnett (Jan. 17, 2009); while Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Stephen Sondheim will be joined by Tony-winning musical guests Christine Ebersole and Billy Stritch (Feb. 4, 2009).

Additional programming includes Women in Shakespeare with Claire Bloom (Nov. 6-7), Rita McKenzie in Ethel Merman's Broadway (Feb. 10, 2009), Tovah Feldshuh in Golda's Balcony (Feb. 11, 2009), Renée Taylor and Joe Bologna in If You Ever Leave Me... I'm Going with You! (Feb. 12, 2009), Michael Feinstein's Salute to the Stars of MGM and Hollywood (March 23, 2009) and Mike Daisey in Monopoly (April 16).
