Diaz and Morton to Headline Signature Theatre's November Cabarets

Virginia's Signature Theatre continues its 20th anniversary season with Signature Sings, an evening of cabaret performances starring Natascia Diaz and Euan Morton.
Billed as a "best-of salute" to the many musicals presented by Signature, Diaz and Morton will perform Nov. 17-22. The duo will offer songs from shows presented in the 1995-1999 seasons, featuring highlights from
Cabaret, First Lady Suite, The Fix, A Grand Night For Singing, A Little Night Music, Over and Over, Passion, The Rink, Sunday in the Park With George, Tell Me On a Sunday and
Working.
Natascia Diaz starred in Signature's 2008 production of Kiss of the Spider Woman, and recently received the Helen Hayes Award for her performance in Rooms at DC's MetroStage. Currently performing in Barrio Grrrl! at the Kennedy Center Family Theatre, Diaz's New York credits include The Capeman, Man of La Mancha and Seussical! on Broadway, and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris and tick, tick…Boom! Off-Broadway. Diaz is also featured in the documentary "Every Little Step."
Euan Morton received a 2003 Olivier Award nomination and 2004 Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of Boy George in Taboo. He has also appeared in Measure for Pleasure at The Public Theater, Tony Kushner's adaptation of Brundibár at the New Victory Theatre and Berkeley Rep, and most recently in the 2007 Broadway revival of Cyrano de Bergerac and the 2009 Off-Broadway production of Leaves of Glass. Morton can be seen in the documentary "Show Business: The Road to Broadway," and he recently released his solo CD "NewClear."
