Wonderland, a new pop musical take on Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" tale, begins its world-premiere run in Tampa, FL, Nov. 24. Gregory Boyd, Jack Murphy and Frank Wildhorn's show stars In the Heights' Janet Dacal in the title role.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury head the cast of the new Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music — the waltz-filled rumination on love — starting Nov. 24.

24 Nov 2009 -- 1849 Birthday of author Frances Hodgeson Burnett (1849-1924), author of several Broadway plays in the first decade of the 20th century, including Little Lord Fauntleroy, The Little Princess, The Pretty Sister of Jose and That Man and I. Her novel The Secret Garden was adapted as a musical in 1991.
